Welcome!

Hello friend, welcome to this place of repose. Curl up on the sofa with your favorite beverage and visit with me for awhile. I began this blog as a total newbie in January 2017 to let other homeschooling moms know of the devotional book that I had written specifically for their encouragement. Now that I’ve been on WordPress for a little while and I’m beginning to understand what the blogging world is all about, I see that a blog has the potential to reach a much wider audience than my book ever could.Whether I’m posting on homeschooling, faith, legalism, depression/anxiety, or relationships, my heartfelt desire is that you would be encouraged, inspired, or helped in your life’s journey. I certainly don’t claim to have all the answers and my life is far from perfect, but I am eager to humbly share the truths and practices that the Lord Jesus has revealed to me in the midst of life’s struggles to bring about healing, rest, and encouragement. I pray that my words will somehow be a blessing to you.

An encouraging devotional book for homeschooling moms

stress-free-homeschooling-ebook-cover-copy

Homeschooling can be a joyful adventure of faith, or it can be a stressful experience. The difference depends not on the circumstances you are facing, but rather on whether or not you are thinking according to God’s point of view. In “Stress-free Homeschooling: 31 Days to a Healthier Way of Thinking”, there are 31 daily devotionals that will bring your thinking into line with God’s thoughts, resulting in faith-rest, peace, and joy rather than anxiety and discouragement. It has been written specifically to encourage homeschooling mothers, but others have found it helpful as well. Reviewed and highly recommended by the Old Schoolhouse Magazine.
